Snowtunes Music Festival is located at the Open Air Stage, off Barry way in Jindabyne opposite the Snowy Mountains Grammar School off Kosciuszko Rd.

ACCOMMODATION:

Please ensure you obtain suitable accommodation as camping at or around Snowtunes grounds is not permitted. If you are found camping, you will be asked to leave the site.

SNOWTUNES IS A

CASHLESS EVENT

Snowtunes will operate a digital currency for the 2018 event, to ensure speed of service, increased security and ease of transactions at the many Bars, Food Outlets and Vendor Stalls.

Most importantly, there will be reduced need to wait in lines, counting out coins to buy a beer, as your friends get thirsty for your round! As such, all food, merchandise and drinks purchased at Snowtunes will need to be paid for using the simple, tap-and-go Festival Currency Wristbands. Festival Currency can be purchased at Snowtunes. At the venue, Festival Currency wristbands can be topped up at currency stands or by our friendly roaming top-up currency sellers.

Can I use cash to pay for food and drinks if I haven’t purchased Festival Currency?

Snowtunes is a ‘cashless’ festival. In other words, to buy food and drinks at the event you’ll need to use festival currency as CASH WILL NOT be accepted by vendors.

How Does Festival Currency Work?

You can buy festival currency at the event (with cash or credit card). The wristband you will receive upon entry contains a chip, which can be read by the vendor’s scanning device, that deducts a set amount depending on what you purchase. It’s so simple to use; let the vendor know what you would like to purchase, they will ring up the transaction on their device. Then scan your wristband against their device and bingo, transaction is complete, start enjoying your food and beverages!

How much should I put on my Festival Currency Wristband?

We would recommend a minimum of $50 to be pre-loaded onto your wristband to maximise your experience at Snowtunes.

How do I know how much is remaining on my wristband?

You can simply ask any vendor how much credit you have remaining by scanning your wristband, or doing the same at any Roaming Top-Up Seller or Festival Currency Booth. After each transaction, the vendor will also show you the balance on your wristband.

Cool, but how much do I pay for this?

That’s easy: A one-time activation fee of $3.50 is deducted from your initial top-up (think of it as the purchase cost of the wristband)

Can I get a refund on any Festival Currency I don’t spend at the event?

Yes you can!

Make sure you keep your wristband. Head to this website from Tuesday 4th September – Monday 10th September and click on the FESTIVAL CURRENCY REFUND button.

Simply enter your full name, email address, BSB, Account Number as well as the RFID number printed on the back of the wristband and the 4-6 digit serial number printed on the side of your wristband and hit complete!

Your refund will be processed back into your bank account within 14 working days.

Please note, refunds under $5.00 are unable to be processed.

Is there public transport to and from surrounding towns?

Public transport is limited in the area. We suggest prior transportation arrangements

Can I still come if I have restricted accessibility?

Of course! Our site is primarily grass and has some steep slopes but we do our best to make everything accessible.

I hear there’s an afterparty this year. How do I get tickets?

Can I change the name on my tickets?

Names are not linked to tickets but feel free to contact our ticketing team at snowtunes@eventopia.co

Can I get a refund?

We do not process refunds (except when required by law) – you should definitely make time to come and party!

What amenities do you have?

We have enough toilets to flush away your winter blues and fire pits to keep those little mittens warm! If your tummy starts rumbling, check out our epic food options onsite or go get decked out at our market stalls!

Do I need I.D to get in?

Yes! The only forms of valid photo ID that will be accepted are; Current Australian/ International Driver’s License, Current Passport, Current state issued photo or proof of age card.

Can I upgrade my tickets?

Hells yes get a VIP ticket and get exclusive access to a private area with a bar, fire pits, toilets and more! Email snowtunes@eventopia.co

I bought a single day ticket but want to upgrade to the full festival experience how do I do that?

Refund your pikey single ticket and pray that there are some weekend passes left!

Can I upgrade my ticket to VIP?

If my friends and I purchase the bundle separately, are we able to stay in the same accommodation?

Snowtunes will do our best to room groups together. Our fabulous team will get in touch with each ticket holder to arrange their roommates.

Are we allowed to bring our own snowboarding/skiing gear on the coaches from central to the snowy mountains?

Snow Worries! Our coaches have plenty of space to store your favourite shredding gear.

Is gear and lift passes included in the package?

Gear and lift passes are not included as part of the package but you can buy these separately off the staff on your coaches.

Will there be transport to/from the festival for both nights? None of my mates want to be Deso!

Yep! There will be a bus to take you to and from the festival – no deso required

I don’t need the included coach down to the mountains. Can I get a credit?

The inclusions of the bundle cannot be substituted.
